Earlier this summer, a silly hummingbird decided that the perfect place to build her nest was right on top of a light in our garage. Now her little ones are big enough that we can see their heads poking out of the nest, so I had to take some pictures, because they’re cute.
The first one is from our porch, the second one is with a bigger lens, and I made a noise as I was taking it. The one on the right is pointing its little beak right at me. They’re not quite big enough to fly just yet, but it won’t be long before they move on and find somewhere else to live. (We’ve had three other hummingbirds make nests in our garage over the years, but the others picked safer things, like old bicycle hooks, to build their nests in).
